90% of the hemp grown and harvested in the USA is going to CBD oil production. Given the current over-supply of hemp, and the limited number of CBD oil producers, some months can pass after harvest until oil extraction can be arranged. It is thought that around 1% of CBD oil is lost to evaporation per month after harvest. Herbsak’s patent pending hermetic construction prevents loss of essential CBD oil, and essentially holds dried hemp in stasis until the Herbsak is opened.
